AI Workforce Readiness, From K-12 to the Workplace.

The Ethical AI Foundation helps K-12 schools and organizations find out where they stand with AI, then provides specialized AI literacy training so students, educators, employees and leaders can use AI safely, fairly and effectively.

Readiness Programs: K-12 and Workforce

Now in schools

We are currently working with schools to provide AI readiness assessments for teachers and students, followed by clear reports and focused AI literacy training.

Why We Exist

AI Is Already in Classrooms and Workplaces. Readiness Is Not.

“Every school and organization, whatever its size or budget, deserves the evidence and the training to use AI responsibly.”

Challenge 01

AI Arrived Before the Training

Students, educators and employees use AI tools every day, often without guidance on how to check answers, protect privacy or use them responsibly.

Challenge 02

Readiness Gaps Stay Invisible

Tool access and confidence don’t show who can evaluate AI output and make sound decisions, so training becomes guesswork.

Challenge 03

Not Everyone Has the Resources

Specialized AI expertise is hard to find. Many schools and nonprofits have no clear path to plan, train and show progress.

Our Programs

Three Programs. One Goal: People Ready for AI.

We measure AI readiness with real-world scenarios, then close the gaps with specialized training built around each group’s results.

AI Readiness for K-12

StudentsTeachersSchools

The Ethical AI Readiness Framework uses realistic, gamified school scenarios to measure the AI readiness of teachers and students, and shows each school its strengths and gaps.

  • Frameworks for teachers and for students
  • School and action-plan reports
  • No names collected from participants

Workforce AI Readiness

EmployeesManagersLeaders

Realistic workplace scenarios show what employees can actually do with AI, across four dimensions: Understand, Apply, Improve and Govern.

  • For all roles, no technical background needed
  • Employee, team and leadership insights
  • Assessment-driven learning paths

Practical, research-informed training that focuses on the gaps each school’s or organization’s results reveal.

How It Works

Assess. Identify. Teach. Show Growth.

Four connected steps that turn AI readiness into a clear plan.

1. Assess

Students, educators and employees work through realistic AI scenarios. Every decision becomes evidence.

2. Identify

Clear reports show strengths and gaps for the whole school or team, with privacy safeguards.

3. Teach

Specialized AI literacy workshops focus on the gaps that matter most.

4. Show Growth

A second assessment shows what has changed, for leaders, boards and funders.

Measured Growth

Readiness Grows When Training Meets Real Gaps.

A real class took the AI readiness assessment in the first session and again in the last, after specialized training. Share of students at “Applying” or above:

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can work with the Foundation?

K-12 schools and school boards, nonprofits, public sector bodies and other organizations across Canada. We especially want to support schools and communities that have fewer resources for AI education.

Are you working with schools now?

Yes. We are currently working with schools to provide AI readiness assessments for teachers and students. Each school receives clear reports and a plan for focused AI literacy training.

Is the readiness assessment a test people can fail?

No. It shows where each person is starting from, and it is used to plan support and training, not to evaluate a teacher or employee, or to mark a student.

Do employees need a technical background?

No. Our workforce assessment covers foundational understanding and practical workplace readiness, and is designed for all roles and experience levels.

Is the training aligned to recognized frameworks?

Yes. Our frameworks and training were developed with reference to recognized AI literacy frameworks, including UNESCO’s AI Competency Frameworks (2024), and can be mapped to provincial curriculum on request.

How can we support the Foundation’s work?

We welcome partner schools, funders, sponsors and volunteers with AI or education expertise. Get in touch through our contact page and we’ll find the right way to work together.
